Future Homes Project

GLAS has provided consultancy and landscape concept design for the Future Homes, a document that advocates for higher design and built standards for apartment living. From the Victoria Government:

“Future Homes will produce better apartment designs that support the building of apartments that become world leaders in design, sustainability and liveability.

Future Homes go above and beyond current design, sustainability, and liveability requirements. The coxmpetition winning designs have now undergone a rigorous refinement phase and the Future Homes exemplar designs have now been created. This has been a collaborative process between the winning architects, the Department of Environment Land Water and Planning, Office of the Victorian Government Architect and a wide range of building, landscape, sustainability, and development consultants. Real consideration has been given to future occupants of these apartments and to neighbours living next door to Future Homes developments.”
