Tree Canopy Provision Guide

GLAS were engaged by DELWP to provide landscape design expertise to assist the development of new Urban Cooling and Greening Provisions.

The development of Model plans according to seven different typologies aimed to demonstrate the positive impact of planning controls in the increase of urban tree canopy. The landscape report showed the overall targets and controls that were considered in the process of defining a Model plan for each typology, and how each plan responds to the

canopy targets. Each plan is based on a real case, with a precedent image associated.
