Monash Student Hub

This new entry-court provides an outdoor space for Monash University Faculty of Edcuation. On a tricky existing condition with many mature trees, the design creates an elevated gathering space whilst protecting a complex underground root system. It integrates an existing cafe on the ground-level, which now has a large area for students and stuff to enjoy meals within a little forest oasis.
